Here are a few types of searches I see out there

• Contextual search (ie. keyword and linguistic based)
• Vertical search (domain specific and more meta based, see my previous blog on some of them)
• Multimedia search (see my previous blog)
• Location based search
• Community based search (ie. trusted search through social network, tagging, etc)
• Enterprise search: more enterprise app integration focused
• Desktop search Overlay on this are various communication enablers like voice, sms, etc

Have I missed any important category out there?
